Kenya’s queen of gospel music, Jemimah Thiong’o, just released the video for her single “Mganga”. In the video she goes through the slums with a message that God is the greatest doctor (mganga) of them all. Whether or not you are a believer, you have to acknowledge the joy that seems to radiate from Jemimah Thiong’o as she shares her message. After hearing this jam it comes as no surprise that the singer has been known to reach all types of audiences. From the church to the bar, her songs are shared and enjoyed.  Another interesting fact is that this singer/businesswoman/farmer does not write her songs, she simply sings as the words come to her–now how's that for inspiration!
