Quirky meets whimsical in Temi Dollface's new video "Pata Pata". The singer-songwriter who names the likes of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, N*E*R*D, and Fela Kuti as some of her influences, is a bold, fresh, and unique sound, especially on the African music scene. The single which was co-produced with Nigerian producer Ikon is a funky mélange of afrobeat, jazz, and hip-hop, just like her influences. Directed by James Slater and filmed in Miami the video which staged to be 50's retro, is filled with witty animation that reveals a new age woman with a new age sound. Check out the video and "dance away your wahala" because moving on has never sounded so good.
